In Rainbows celebrates Radiohead’s diverse career with an album full of euphoric atmosphere and emotion. Lyrically, the CD plays like a Siren’s song leading the man astray from his life and love. The enticing color and contrast of the outer packaging lure the viewer into opening up the vibrant world that is In Rainbows. By unfolding the entire triptych, we physically find the ephemeral music represented as a rainbow in the clouds above the colorful sea. The album artwork was inspired by the myriad portfolio of renaissance man Milton Glaser. He and Radiohead have had quite an influence on the creative community for several decades now, so it seems fitting to construct limited edition package that expresses both artists.
